Nov 04, 2010 I have just downloaded LaCie drivers for OS X and they appear to have loaded ok. See screen grab Shame I dont have usb 3.0 drive to test it out. I just got LaCie USB Pocket Foppy drive today, to use with a PowerBook G4 running OS 10.3.4. Unfortunately, even though I exhaustively researched the available USB floppy drives for Mac, I never came across anything that said the LaCie doesn't support double-sided (2DD) Mac formatted disks, only high-density (2HD). LaCie driver's CD-ROM for USB Floppy Disk Drive for Windows 98/98SE and Mac OS 8.6 to 9.2.2. As written on the CD-ROM front, no drivers are required for Windows 2000/ME/XP and Mac OS X (10.1 or higher). Comes with Acrobat Reader 4 for PC and Mac (English only). The manual link given above contains the Readme file as located on the CD-ROM. Feb 23, 2011 I downloaded 'LaCie USB 3.0 Driver for Mac' to install on my MacBook running Max OS X 10.6.6 I got the file 'LaCie USB 3.0 Driver.dmg' of 393 KB. This included a file 'LaCieUSB3-MacOS106.dmg' (217 KB) which opened to 'LaCieUSB3-MacOS106.pkg' (295KB). Free drivers for LaCie 320. Found 2 files for Windows, Mac OS X. Select driver to download.
LaCie Network Assistant is a companion application for the LaCie network attached storage devices and can be used to connect to and configure them from your Mac.
The app resides in the status bar so its out of your way, and can be used to power up remote LaCie storage devices connected to your LAN in no time.
Connect your LaCie storage devices to the network and manage them from the status bar
The LaCie storage devices can be connected to your network using Ethernet cables, or you can plug them directly into your Mac via USB. Make sure that the storage devices are also attached to an AC source, and then use the LaCie Network Assistant to configure them.
The app comes with a status bar menu, but if you open its main window, you will be able to see details about the currently connected LaCie network disks.
In addition, you get to configure each NAS manually or let the assistant to automatically detect the IP address, the subnet mask, or the gateway, DNS, or WINS addresses.
Wake up LaCie LAN devices or access the recovery function
The LaCie Network Assistant app can be used to power up a remote LaCie device connected to your network by using the “Wake Up” function via the app’s status bar menu. Simply input the device MAC address, and the app takes care of the rest.
Furthermore, the same menu enables you to activate the Recovery Mode that can help you troubleshoot LaCie network disks that are not responding or are experiencing other issues. Note that you might have to manually download the latest Recovery Mode update for the LaCie website.

To sum up, LaCie Network Assistant is a companion application for the LaCie network storage devices and can be used to both configure and get general information about the LaCie devices connected to your network or directly to your Mac.
